Streaming release dates revealed for mega summer movies
Just a cool $1.5bn between the two at the box office…
Oppenheimer and Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse will both be coming to digital platforms fairly soon.
Christopher Nolan’s latest epic is nearing the $1bn mark at the box office, a very impressive feat considering its long runtime and the fact that it was going up against the also incredibly popular blockbuster Barbie.
Universal announced that Oppenheimer will be launching on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, DVD and digital on 22nd November in the UK and will feature an extra three hours of special features - that’s another three hours on top of the three-hour film run time.
It will be coming to Amazon Prime Video, but unfortunately not without cost. You can pre-order the movie in SD, HD or UHD now, all for the same price of £13.99.
The second movie in the Spiderverse series will also be swinging (hehe) onto digital platforms very soon - on Halloween, in fact.
His name is Miles Morales. He was bitten by a radioactive spider. I'm pretty sure you know the rest. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse comes to Netflix in the US on October 31!!! pic.twitter.com/kQsnbSK16i

Netflix shared the news on the Twitter/X account, stating that the film will be coming to Netflix in the US on 31st October.
Unfortunately for us in the UK, it is just the US Netflix that will be getting the film and there is currently no word as to when it will be coming to our version of the platform.
It’s not that bad, though. VPNs are a thing, they’re legal and are a brilliant tool not just for traversing geolocation barriers but for keeping you safe online. Check out our VPN guide on Broadband Finder to find out more about them and how you can use it to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse on US Netflix this Halloween.
