How to watch the 2025/26 Women’s Super League on TV

An exciting start to the new campaign…

The 2025/26 Women’s Super League season is well and truly underway, and while there may not not be much change at the top, it’s certainly shaping up to be a memorable year.

Six games down, 16 to play and just five points currently separating first and fifth. You will want to keep up with the action, so find out how you can do so here.

How to watch the 2025/26 Women’s Super League on TV

The 2025/26 Women’s Super League season will see broadcast rights shared between Sky Sports and BBC Sport, with the occasional game also being shown live on YouTube.

Women’s Super League on Sky Sports

Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for the WSL, and thanks to a new bumper rights partnership, this season will see their coverage expanded to 188 live matches, with 78 of which being exclusively on their programming.

As well as live fixtures, Sky Sports has enhanced the coverage with better behind-the-scenes access and more ways to watch, including the newly introduced Multiview - a programme that moves from ground to ground covering all the goals and big moments, complimented by dedicated commentary and half-time analysis.

Existing Sky Sports subscribers can watch via one of the numerous channels, including Main Event and Football, as well as on the move with the Sky Sports app, where you’ll find a plethora of Sky Sports+ streams.

If you’re not already with Sky, you can get signed up by choosing a pre-made Sky Sports package deal. If you are but don’t have Sky Sports part of your existing Sky TV package, you can add it on. You can choose between a 31-day rolling contract or an 18-month contract.

Women’s Super League on BBC Sports

After a thrilling Euro 2025 campaign, BBC continues their coverage of women’s football by hosting 21 live matches this WSL season plus the League Cup final.

The matches will be available to watch on network TV as well as on BBC iPlayer, giving viewers the opportunity to watch whether they’re at home or on the go.

Women’s Super League on YouTube

A groundbreaking move for live football in the UK sees several WSL games this season shown live on YouTube as well as Sky Sports and/or BBC Sport.

Keep up with the action on YouTube via either the Sky Sports WSL channel or the dedicated Barclays Women’s Super League channel (not to be confused with the WSL channel, which is for the World Surf League).

2025/26 Women’s Super League so far

With six games down, the sides are getting settled into the new season and we’re starting to see the separation between the sides who will be fighting for the title and those who will be aiming for survival.

At the very top of the table, reigning champions Chelsea are on pace to replicate last year's undefeated season, with five wins and one draw so far and only three goals conceded.

It’s not like they haven’t played any of the other top teams either. They took down fourth-placed Tottenham in matchday 6 and opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over Manchester City.

The only blemish so far (if you can even call it that) was a 1-1 draw with fellow powerhouse Manchester United, who are the only other team so far in the league to not lose a game. They sit two points back of Chelsea but are arguably the stronger side, having scored 16 goals and conceded just three as well for a league-best 13 goal difference, four better than the league leaders.

Looking at the bottom and there are two clear favourites for relegation, with both West Ham and Liverpool failing to pick up a victory as of yet. Both have also only been able to find the back of the net twice, so their duels against one another may end up being the deciding factor as to which one goes down.

2025/26 Women’s Super League: Matchday 6 results

Matchday 6 was the latest to be played and saw no real surprise - although Man City did have to come back from a goal down to claim their victory over Liverpool.

Chelsea claimed a 1-0 victory over Spurs to remain at the top, while Man United kept the pressure on by dispatching of Everton 4-1, with another coming from now golden boot leader Melvine Malard.

Reigning Champions League winners Arsenal ensured they kept up with the front runners with a 1-0 win over Brighton. The win saw them snap their streak of three games without a win which dropped them five points back of the league leaders.

Here are the full results from Matchday 6:

  • Everton 1-4 Manchester United
  • Liverpool 1-2 Manchester City
  • Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham
  • Arsenal 1-0 Brighton
  • London City 1-0 West Ham
  • Aston Villa 0-0 Leicester City
