Sky Atlantic Catch-Up | How to watch what you missed
We take you through how to stay up to date on your favourite series.
In this guide, we'll explain how you can use Sky's catch-up service to enjoy anything you might've missed on Sky Atlantic.
Sky Atlantic is one of the broadcaster’s most popular channels, exclusively showcasing a wealth of award-winning content from both the UK and the US. Learn how you can catch up on the Sky Atlantic content you’ve missed with our handy guide.
How can I catch up with Sky Atlantic?
All Sky TV customers have access to catch-up TV as part of their package. As long as you’ve got a good broadband connection you can watch TV shows from up to 30 days ago via this catch-up service.
You can catch up in multiple ways, including finding the Sky Atlantic +1 channel or recording the show you want to watch when it is on TV.
In today's world though, streaming is the way to go, and Sky offers users the chance to watch their favourite shows when and where they want via their menu.
Available to all Sky TV customers are the Catch Up and Sky Box Sets options. Within both of these, you will find all the programming available on Sky TV.
They both work in the same way, offering you the chance to watch whatever it is that you have missed or want to watch without the need to find it in the TV guide or download each individual episode.
How do I connect my Sky Glass or Stream to the internet?
Sky Glass and Sky Stream are the company's latest offerings, providing Sky TV via streaming rather than satellite. This means that both require a stable broadband connection to stream the content to you.
Connecting your Glass or Stream to the internet is an easy process. Once you’ve plugged in either one, the setup process will begin. During this process, it will bring up the Network Setup, which will allow you to choose the WiFi network you want to connect to.
Once you find your network, you will be asked to enter the password. Once done, your device will be connected and everything will already be set up for you, ready to begin watching immediately.
How do I connect my Sky Q box to the internet?
To wirelessly connect up your main Sky Q box head to the Sky Q home menu on your TV and scroll down to settings. Select setup > network > reset then wait a couple of seconds for the box to check the network and press confirm.
You’ll then be asked whether you want to connect to Sky Broadband WiFi or WiFi from another supplier. After selecting the appropriate option, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
Those who want to use an ethernet cable should plug one end of it into your Sky Q box and the other into your router. Your Sky Q box should then automatically connect.
How do I connect my Sky HD+ box to the internet?
There are two ways to wirelessly connect your Sky HD+ box to the internet.
You can press and hold the WPS button on your Sky Broadband router until it flashes and then press the WPS button on the front of your box. The lights on the front of your box will flash and then turn solid amber when it's connected.
Alternatively, you can press the services button on your Sky remote followed by settings > network. Press connect with password then select your home wifi network and enter your password. If you'd prefer to use an ethernet cable, simply plug one end into your router and the other into your Sky HD+ box.
It should be noted that Sky HD and HD+ services are no longer supported by Sky. The equipment is still operational, but Sky advises customers to move to either Sky Q if they are still interested in satellite TV or Glass or Stream for streaming.
