A Haunting in Venice cast confirmed
Agatha Christie's next adaptation is coming.
We're all used to the sheer class Kenneth Branagh's Poirot movies bring in terms of cast, and A Haunting in Venice does not disappoint.
Coming together for Christie's next murder mystery based on Hallowe'en Party, are Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' Michelle Yeoh, Fifty Shades of Grey and Belfast star Jamie Dornan and Killing Eve's Camille Cottin, supported by Tina Fey, Kyle Allen, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly and Riccardo Scamarcio.
The plot follows a retired Poirot who is living peacefully in solitude in Venice, when one of the guests at a séance he attends is murdered - shock.
"This is a fantastic development of the character Hercule Poirot, as well as the Agatha Christie franchise," Branagh said.
"Based on a complex, little-known tale of mystery set at Halloween in a pictorially ravishing city, it is an amazing opportunity for us, as filmmakers, and we are relishing the chance to deliver something truly spine-chilling for our loyal movie audiences."
Filming of the movie, which will be directed by Branagh himself and written by Logan's Michael Green, is set to begin in November with release set for 2023.
