HBO debuts first official trailer for Succession season 3
Its looks to be the acclaimed drama's most explosive season yet.

HBO has released the first trailer for the long-awaited third season of Succession.
The 1:23 minute clip reveals that this season will see the ultra-wealthy Roy family in all out war and more divided than ever before.
Formidable patriarch Logan (Brian Cox) is out for blood after Kendall’s (Jeremy Strong) decision to publicly blame him for WayStar Royco's cruise ship scandal in last season’s finale.
While the latter is then seen trying to convince his siblings, Shiv (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Connor (Alan Ruck), to side with him, it’s clear that they also have power-grabbing plans of their own.
We also get a glimpse of fan favourites Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) and Shiv’s husband Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) seemingly also involved in some kind of scheme.
Not featured are the two new main cast members for season 3, Alexander Skarsgård’s successful tech founder Lukas Matsson and Adrien Brody’s billionaire activist Josh Aaronson.
This trailer doesn’t reveal a release date but HBO has confirmed that these ten new episodes will hit our screens sometime this Autumn.
The nearly two year gap between seasons is mostly due to the COVID-19 pandemic which shut down production for several months last year.
Both seasons of Succession are available to stream with the NOW Entertainment Membership.
