House of the Dragon Season 2 set for early summer premiere
Continue to explore the Targaryen dynasty.
Season Two of House of the Dragon is set to begin streaming in early summer 2024, as confirmed by HBO network chief Casey Bloys.
The prequel to the popular Game of Thrones series delighted fans, doing justice to the original series and to the books, with the series being the second in the A Song of Fire and Ice franchise.
Alongside this announcement, Bloys also revealed that another Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: A Hedge Knight, will begin shooting next spring (presuming the SAG-AFTRA strikes are over by then).
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: A Hedge Knight will also be a prequel to the events in Game of Thrones, revolving around Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg.
These announcements were made by Bloys during an event in New York where a debut trailer was shown alongside the announcement.
The trailer is yet to be released, but with the news out there now, it surely won't be long until the public gets their first glimpse of House of the Dragon Season Two.
