'Murder, She Wrote' movie in the works at Universal
The classic TV series will be coming to the big screen.
Universal Pictures are working on a Murder, She Wrote movie, Variety has reported.
The classic TV series that starred Angela Lansbury in the lead role finished in 1996 after 12 highly successful seasons.
Dumb Money writers Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo signed on to the movie prior to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and will not resume their work on the project until the WGA and the AMPTP reach a deal.
Amy Pascal, who worked on the latest Spider-Man movies, has also signed up as a producer.
While the original Murder, She Wrote series finished in 1996, there were four television movies that followed its conclusion, with the last coming in 2003.
With the ongoing strikes having no end as of now, it is yet to be seen when we can expect to see Murder, She Wrote on the silver screen.
