Netflix has released the first images for the fourth and final season of Ozark.
The photos don’t really give anything away about the plot of the upcoming season, mainly just showing crooked accountant Marty (Jason Bateman) and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney).
There’s also a shot of ex-employee Ruth (Julia Garner), who is now working for rival heroin producer Darlene (Lisa Emery), surrounded by what are presumably fellow criminals.
Set to pick straight up from last season’s explosive finale, this outing will see the Byrde’s in even deeper with the dangerous Navarro Cartel.
“Marty and Wendy are rid of Helen and climb to the top of Navarro’s empire,” reads the official plot synopsis from the streaming giant.
“They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.”
Main cast members Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Felix Solis, Charlie Tahan and Damien Young are also all set to return alongside newcomers Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenburg and Katrina Lenk.
This fourth season of Ozark will be split into two parts, consisting of seven episodes each, with the fourth scheduled to premiere on 21st January 2021.
You can stream seasons 1 to 3 of Ozark on Netflix now.
