Netflix unveils first look and release date for Cowboy Bebop
The eagerly-awaited anime adaptation will hit Netflix on 19th November.
Netflix has released the first images and the release date for its upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series.
Adapted from the beloved 90s anime of the same name, the show follows Spike Spiegel (Star Trek’s John Cho) and his gang of intergalactic bounty hunters as they hunt down criminals aboard the spaceship Bebop.
The first batch of photos, which were published to the show’s official Twitter account, feature Cho sporting Spiegel’s trademark headphones and bloodied after some kind of fight.
The second gives the first look at two of the show’s other main characters, ex-cop Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and con artist Faye Valentine (Danielle Pineda) who recently came out of a 54 year suspended animation following an accident.

Alex Hassell, Elena Satine, Geoff Stults, Tamara Tunie, Mason Alexander, Rachel House, Ann Truong and Hoa Xuande will also star.
Cowboy Bebop was originally slated for release in 2020 but with both Cho sustaining a serious knee injury on set and the outbreak of COVID-19 it was pushed back to 2021.
