Loki Season 2 coming soon
Loki was one of Marvel’s biggest hits at the start of Phase Four, and while some other projects in the phase have fallen somewhat short, Loki has remained one of the stronger ones.
As such, fan anticipation for the next series is very high. The first season introduced us to the new big bad in Kang the Conqueror, and now since then, we have seen him in other projects such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The next season will see an advancement of the story that was left on a cliffhanger at the end of the first.
Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as the titular character, with everyone else from the first season returning to play their roles again.
Loki season two will begin streaming on Disney+ on 6th October.
The Hundred returns for third year
2022 Hundred Men's and Women's champions celebrate with their trophies.
British cricket's newest competition The Hundred returns for 2023, with the first game of the new season starting tomorrow.
Trent Rockets will be hosting Southern Brave in the opening game of the season at Trent Bridge on Tuesday 1st August, with the women’s match starting at 15:00 and the men’s at 18:30.
The season will start with the league proceedings, with each team playing eight games (four home and four away). This will run from 1st - 24th August, with cricket every day of those 24 days.
The Eliminator game will take place on Saturday 26th, with the winner going on to play the team that finished first in the table in the Final on Sunday 27th August.
A full month of cricket during the summer holidays, it is sure to be a good competition. And if you’re not planning on attending a game, you can watch it all live on Sky Sports Cricket, the exclusive home of The Hundred on TV.
Chelsea champions of the Premier League Summer Series
Chelsea facing off against Newcastle in the Premier League Summer Series.
The new Premier League season is drawing ever closer, with each team playing only one or two more pre-season matches before the start of the campaign.
During the pre-season, six teams competed in the new-for-2023 Premier League Summer Series in the US, which saw Chelsea, Fulham, Brentford, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brighton compete to be the inaugural champion.
After three games each, it was Chelsea with their almost completely new and revamped team who came out on top with a 2-0 victory over Fulham to take the title.
It’s been a good showing for the Blues in pre-season, something which they desperately needed after last year's disastrous campaign.
New signings Nicholas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have looked good so far, so expectations will be on them to come into the season and keep those performances up.
The Premier League season will begin on Friday 11th August, with newly promoted Burnley taking on the reigning champions Manchester City at Turf Moor.
You can watch that game, as well as another 127, on Sky Sports this season. Get your Sky Sports package deal now if you haven’t already so you don’t miss a single game.
