First look at Rick and Morty season 7
Don't get too excited yet, it was mainly a recap with an announcement.
Fans have been treated to a first look at the next season of Rick and Morty, and while there wasn’t a whole lot new, it has piqued the interest of the masses.
Adult Swim, the broadcaster that owns the show, put out the 75-second teaser on their Instagram and Twitter (we’re not calling it X) accounts.
The teaser has a heavy focus on Rick which leads fans to believe that the seventh season will primarily focus on the feud between Rick C-137 and Rick Prime, which was the main storyline that had been running throughout all previous seasons and came to a head at the end of season six.
Rick and Morty season 7 has not been given a proper release date yet; however, the teaser video did state that the official release date would be coming next week and that the series would be coming in the Fall, which for all normal countries (sorry not sorry America) means Autumn.

This will be the first season of Rick and Morty without one of the co-creators of the show, Justin Roiland. He is no longer involved in the production after being fired by Adult Swim earlier this year (we won’t explain why here but it’s a simple enough Google search).
Roiland’s departure means that the show is missing the voice actor for the titular characters, as he was the man behind them and many others.
Show producer Steve Levy spoke on a panel at San Diego Comic-Con last month and addressed this issue, stating that they were “closing in” on finding Roiland’s replacements and that they will use soundalikes, even going as far to say that the show will be better without him.
Only time will tell how Rick and Morty season 7 will look and sound.
