Vikings: Valhalla sets premiere date at Netflix
Subscribers can stream the series from 25th February 2022 on Netflix.
Netflix has confirmed the release date for Vikings: Valhalla.
The spinoff to the hit History Channel original will be available to stream from 25th February 2022.
Set a century after the events of Vikings, the show will chronicle “the legendary adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived as they fight for survival and glory” according to the official plot synopsis.
These include Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), thought to be the first European to have set foot in North America, his strong-willed sister Freydis Eriksdottir (Frida Gustavsson) and Nordic Prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Sutner).
Laura Berlin, Radley Freeguard, Caroline Henderson, Jóhannes Hauku Jóhanesson, Pollyanna McInosh, Asbjørn Krogh, David Oakes and James Ballange round out the rest of the main cast.
A short teaser trailer was released back in September 2020 showing Eriksson sailing his longship across the sea and giving fans their first glimpse at the show’s action.
Vikings: Valhalla was created by Michael Hirst and written by Die Hard’s Jeb Stuart who will also serve as showrunner.
You can stream all six seasons of Vikings on Amazon Prime now.
