Happy Gilmore 2 confirmed by Netflix
Netflix officially announced a sequel to one of Adam Sandler’s most beloved movies, Happy Gilmore, almost 30 years after the original release.
Sandler will be returning to star in the film, but other than that no more details have been shared.
Rumours of the sequel have been circulating for some time, with Sandler saying in 2022 that he would like to do it.
Albon signs Williams extension
Alex Albon has committed his future with Williams by signing an extension that will see him remain with the team until at least the end of the 2026 season.
The British-born Thai driver was linked with a move to a team further up the field once again after impressive seasons with the legendary British outfit.
By securing Albon to the team, Williams is now left with just one seat to fill for the 2025 season. They are expected to move on from his current teammate Logan Sargeant come the conclusion of this season at the latest, although with many drivers currently on the grid also out of contract for next season and a host of young talent waiting in the wings, Williams has a big decision on their hands as to who will partner Albon going forwards.
The Boys renewed for season 5 ahead of season 4 premiere
Despite still being a month away from the release of The Boys season four, Prime Video announced that they have renewed the show for a fifth season.
The series is a firm fan-favourite on the streaming site, and the news of the renewal has gone down very well with all. No details have been given as to when filming will begin.
Season four has been highly anticipated and will no doubt garner large viewership numbers when it premieres on 13th June, with an episode being released each week until 18th July.
