What is BT TV on demand?

BT on demand allows you to watch a large selection of content from many Freeview channels and catch-up players whenever you like.

This type of content is available to all BT customers free of charge, regardless of which TV deal you've opted for.

Netflix, NOW and Amazon Prime Video are all available on your YouView box which can be used to stream an almost endless amount of content on demand. You can either use an existing subscription to sign into these apps or purchase one through BT which will add the monthly cost into your bill. 

BT TV Catch-up

As part of the BT TV service, customers can watch catch-up content from the major free-to-air digital channels – BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4 and Channel 5. BT TV catch-up content is downloaded direct to the YouView+ box.

This content comes from the last seven days, through BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All4 and Demand 5.

BT Player

The BT Player gives you access to more TV series, documentaries and films on demand from some of the other channels in your deal like the BT exclusive AMC, Dave and MTV.

If you've purchased any of BT's add ons like Sky Cinema or Kids, that on demand content will appear here too.

All of the on demand content that's available through the BT Player is from the last 30 days. 

BT Store

With the BT Store you can rent or buy the latest big releases and popular titles for a one-off fee. Use your set-top box remote to navigate the selection and find what you want to watch.

You get the rent for set amount of time, and there’s no limit to the number of rents you can take each month.
